With New Year comes new hopes. After the success of several 2015 K-dramas, fans are now looking forward to watching some more of it. Here is a list of top 10 must watch K-dramas in 2016.

1.    Cheese in the Trap: Premiered on Jan. 4, Drama Fever's latest show "Cheese in the Trap" is creating quite a buzz among the fans. It is a story of two young lovers portrayed by Kim Go-Eun and Park Hae-Jin. It is based on the popular web-toon of the same name.

2.  Madame Antoine: Another must watch Drama Fever K-drama is "Madame Antoine" featuring Han Ye Sul and Sung Joon. It is a love story of a fortune teller played by Han. She claims that she has a connection to Marie Antoinette. While participating in a project, she meets Sung Joon's character who does not believe in love.

3.  Moorim School: Starring Lee Hyun Woo, Seo Ye-ji and Lee Hong-bin, the show focuses on the lives of students and teachers at Moorim Institute. The institute is dedicated to teaches its students a life of honesty. The show premiered on Jan. 11, 2016 on KBS2 and on Jan. 12, 2016 on KST.

4.  Descendants of the Sun: This upcoming KBS2 series revolves around the love story of Captain Yoo Shi-jin and Kang Mo-yeon in war-torn country Uruk. Featuring Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, the TV series will explore the romance of the two young lovers. The show will go on air on Feb. 24, 2016 and air on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

5.  Moon Lovers: Based on Tong Hua's novel, "Moon Lovers" is a period drama with star-studded cast. The much-awaited Korean drama is a story of Haw-soo's journey from modern day Seoul to back in the era of Goryeo dynasty. The upcoming TV series will feature IU, Lee Joong, Kang Ha-neul, Byun Baekhyun, Seohyun, Hong Jong-hyun and more. The exact airdate is yet to be confirmed. However, the show is expected to be premiered in September, 2016.

6.  Signal: The investigative series premieres on Jan. 22, 2016 on tvN. The show detectives from the present and detectives from the past establish a contact to solve a series of horrendous crime. Lee Je Hoon and Kim Hye Soo portrays the detective from the present communicating with Jo Jin Woong's detective from the past.

7.  One More Happy Ending: Jang Na Ra, Yoo Da In, Yoo In Na and Seo In Young play the protagonists of the series about marriage, remarriage, and divorce. It is a tale about the members of now disbanded idol group "Angels" and their lives after the group fell apart. The 16-episode relationship drama, kicks off on Jan. 20, 2016 on MBC.

8.  Dear My Friends: It is a TV drama that revolves around the older and younger people who develop deep friendship with each other. The much-awaited TV series features Ko Hyun-Jung, Shin Sung-Woo, Kim Young-Ok, Kim J-Young and more. It is expected to be released in May, 2016.

9.  Memory: This is another highly-anticipated drama that stars Lee Sung-Min in the lead role of Park Tae-Suk. The upcoming k-drama chronicles the life of a Park Tae-Suk, a well-known lawyer, who is later diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

10.                 The Flower in Prison: It is a historical drama and tale of justice. It depicts the life of Ok-nyeo, who was born in prison. Through her growing years, she helps to bring justice to those who might be innocent but falsely accused. She uses Waeji-boo, a system of justice belonging to Joseon dynasty. Starring Jin Se-Yun in main role, the show will premiere in March, 2016.
