After a cliffhanger ending on Season 9 finale, audience look forward to the new season of "The Big Bang Theory" to answer question about Leonard and Penny's wedding, and the possibility of Sheldon moving in with Amy. Those questions will be answered as "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 premieres on Sept. 19.
In Season 9, Amy and Sheldon finally spent their first night together on her birthday after more than five years dating, while Penny and Leonard agreed to follow suggestion from Leonard's mother Beverly to have a formal wedding in the season finale. The Season 9 ended abruptly, leaving audience to wonder about the wedding and relationship between Sheldon and Amy.
In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Steve Molaro gives a sneak peek of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10. Molaro also explains the new season will go script by script.
"All we can do right now is focus on season 10 and go script by script, which is what we would be doing anyway," says Molaro. "As far as I'm concerned, here in the writers' room, it's business usual: moving forward with the characters and letting them live their lives day by day and feeling out what happens with them."
Following the end of season 9, all cast contracts ended and contract re-negotiation gave a slight impact to the production. Therefore, the production team took a script by script approach to shoot the series. However, we would see most of the cast return in the new season, such as Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco and Mayim Bialik.
We also expect to see the weirdest couple in the series, Amy (Bialik) and Sheldon (Parsons) take a next step in their relatioship to move in together. However, according to Entertainment Weekly, their moving in together is a purely science experiment, because a good way to trick Sheldon into doing such thing is to frame the idea in terms of science.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will return every Monday starting Sept. 19 on NBC.
