Wild NBA rumors have emerged that Miami Heat mainstay Chris Bosh might end up back playing for the Toronto Raptors in the near future as the All-Star power forward had insisted his desire to play this upcoming season.

The Heat are still undecided whether to grant Bosh's request or not as team president Pat Riley had also asserted that the 32-year-old's future is in the hands of the team and his doctors. Riley had earlier said that if the doctors give the go-signal, then the club will clear him to play.

Bosh was diagnosed for the second straight midseason of risky blood clots in his body, which led to him being ruled out since last February's All-Star break. As far as the Heat is concerned, his status remains the same up to this point even when Bosh made it very obvious that he wants to suit up for Miami during the 2016-2017 season's opening day in October.

NBC Sports' Pro Basketball Talk reported that at the moment Miami is still "working on a solution to allow him to play" and it said to have frustrated Bosh as the schedule for training camps draw near.

The report said that "there's some optimism that progress is being made", though, but rumors are out that Bosh could demand a trade back to his original team, the Raptors, as he felt that the Heat are not handling well his present concerns.

Chat Sports Net indicated that a trade sending Jared Sullinger, Patrick Patterson, and Terrence Ross to Miami in exchange for Bosh is possible. The three players are still entering their primes and so Riley might like the idea of adding the trio to his current core of young players Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside.

The departure of Dwyane Wade indicated that the Heat is ready for a complete rebuild. Bosh is the only one left from their Big Three with LeBron James and so the team might decide to let him go as well.

Giving him up via a trade would be the best move for Miami at this point as they can get a lot of value from Bosh's exit.

Meanwhile, Bosh going back to Toronto will continue the trend of James and Wade's homecoming deals as well, which will certainly be welcomed by Raptors fans.
