Hong Kong heartthrob and actor Kevin Cheng and Hong Kong actress and beauty queen Grace Chan's relationship has been seen to be very stable despite the 22-year age gap.

The couple was recently spotted dining together in a restaurant just a month before their first anniversary. Cheng, usually known to have a straight face, was seen smiling and enjoying his time with his girlfriend throughout the date.

When Chan spotted paparazzi outside the restaurant, she smiled and waved at the paparazzi. Cheng, also smiled at the same paparazzi before boarding the car after his meal, Asian Pop News reported.

To avoid paparazzi from following them, Cheng dropped Chan off at Causeway Bay. Later on, the couple was seen to have returned to Cheng's house separately.

During a charity dinner in 2015, Chan revealed to the media that the two have started dating. Rumors say that the two have been partially living together as Chan is often at Cheng's house.

Both have reported that they have agreed to avoid unnecessary contact with the opposite sex. In December 2015, Cheng was seen chatting only to the married Rosina Lam at a pub. Chan, on the other hand, has avoided posting photos with her and her male friends.

Cheng was once dubbed at one of TVB's most eligible bachelors. He is also portrayed in the media as a Casanova often with a string of girlfriends including actresses Charmaine Sheh, Niki Chow and Taiwanese star Annie Liu.

Cheng and Chan met on the set of vampire-themed drama series "Blue Veins". Cheng described her young girlfriend as being smart and intellectual who broke into showbiz after winning the 2013 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant, according to Asia One Women.

Unfortunately, their relationship has set a ton of negative reactions from the media and fans because of their age-gap. Some have even referred them to be having a father-daughter relationship.

However, Cheng has not been bothered one bit. "That's not a problem for me. For all my previous relationships, age was never an issue," Asia One Women quoted Cheng as saying. The actor claimed that it is more important that he can communicate well with his significant other.

The two reportedly plans to get married sometime in 2016.
