K-Hip-Hop artist Lexy shares news about her unconventional wedding ceremony, even after filing for marriage in November.

Lexy and her boyfriend have filed for marriage and plan to have a small private wedding in May. Apparently, the two are already husband-and-wife and have been married since November 2015, after dating for 4 years.

According to the hip hop artist, she did not want a wedding at the time she and her boyfriend registered for marriage. "To me, living happily with my husband is more important than the wedding ceremony," as reported by Dramafever.

Despite initially being opposed to a wedding ceremony, she later changed her mind.

The same report reveals that her husband has been a great support of Lexy. Although widely different in professions, Lexy's husband words in finance.

According to an acquaintance of the two as revealed in Yonhap News, Lexy's husband has always been at her side during struggling times. Whenever she felt weary, Lexy has always relied on her husband.

The two have plans to have a late ceremony in May. Reports claim that the wedding will be a small and private event with close family in attendance.

The hiphop artist debuted in 2003 with her hit song entitled 'Aesong'. The singer received several praise for not only being an excellent vocalist but also a solid female rapper.

In 2008, the singer/rapper released her self-titled album "Lexy". Lexy was first represented by YG Entertainment who also handles the likes of Psy, 2NE1 and BigBang.

Not long after, Lexy left the agency and had plans to make her debut by 2008. Unfortunately, a series of problems led to her long break from the music scene, according to Fooyoh.

By 2008, Lexy finally signed with Red Line Entertainment to get her music career back on track. She released her comeback album in August after being inactive for 4 years.

Her last appearance on TV was for the rap competition series 'Show Me The Money 2" in 2013 as the only female member. Producers of the show say that the star warms the mood on-set as also gave good advice and kind words.
