Kobe Bryant said in the recent interview regarding Kevin Durant joining Golden State Warriors. He said that a real competitor will welcome the situation and become more competitive to beat the team.

Bryant is well-known for his high competitive nature. Speaking on the "Jim Rome Show" on CBS Sports Radio, Bryant said that a real competitor will respond differently to the situation as Fox Sports reported.

"If you're a real competitor, you look at that and say 'OK, lace 'em up. Let's go. I don't care how many players you have over there, we're still going to take you down," he told Jim Rome.

Bryant acknowledged this type of the offseason move would bring out his competitive edge as reported by CBS Sports. "So as a competitor you have to look at that and say ok, how can I figure out, I have to figure out to take apart that team, and so now the challenge becomes how to find cracks within their system within their personnel, how can I take them down."

He also said that Russel Westbrook, former Durant's team mate in Oklahoma in the current player that reminded him of himself. "When I turn on the TV and watch players play, the player who plays with the same kind of emotion and grit and competitive intensity is Russell. He's going hard, doesn't matter who's playing against, doesn't matter what the odds are ... he's going 110 percent every single time," Bryant said.

Golden State Warriors are expected to be the best team next season after signing Durant. Their starting line-up with Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala are the fast and strong players which are predicted to dominate the NBA.
