"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 midseason premiere is only few hours away from its highly-awaited midseason premiere. The Johnny Galecki (Leonard), Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Kaley Cuoco (Penny) and Kunnal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali) starrer is set to air Episode 12 titled "The Sales Call Sublimation" after three-week winter break. In midseason finale, Episode 11 "The Opening Night Excitation," fans saw Sheldon and Amy take their relationship to a whole new level after a long awaited reunion. Meanwhile, the show celebrated the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Moving on to the "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 12. According to Spoiler TV's description of "The Sales Call Sublimation," the show will explore Leonard and Penny's relationship. Fans can expect to see Leonard and Penny finally realise problems in their marriage. The newly married couple visits psychiatrist to deal with their marital issues.

"Malcolm in the Middle" actress Jane Kaczmarek will guest star as the psychiatrist assisting Leonard and Penny with their problems. A promo video for "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 12 teases Penny's interaction with the therapist wherein she reveals what exactly is causing problems in their married life.

"We have this man-child living with us named Sheldon," Penny tells the psychiatrist in the promo video. The therapist informs Penny that Leonard has "talked a lot about him" to her. Scroll down to watch the video.

Meanwhile, after Stuart moves out of Wolowitz and Bernadette's house something unexpected happens to the duo. It is reported that Wolowitz and Bernadette could possibly be missing Stuart and experiencing "Empty Nest Syndrome."

Elsewhere, Sheldon and Raj Koothrapally make an astronomical discovery. According to Design & Trend, Sheldon and Raj are spending some time at the lab where they discover a new asteroid. However, they must give it an appropriate name.

At first, they name the asteroid Kooper, using their surnames Koothrapalli and Cooper. However, Sheldon thinks that they should name it after their girlfriends Amy and Emily. Sheldon suggests that they take "Am" from Amy's name and "Y" from Emily's name. But Raj isn't too happy with the result as the name ultimately reads "Amy."

As for Amy, when she finds out about the asteroid being named after her, she is quite thrilled but feels that they may have to name all their children Raj as an obligation to him.
