Makers of "Veere Di Wedding" Bollywood movie have refuted the reports that actress Kareen Kapoor Khan has opted out of the movie because of her pregnancy. The 35-year-old actress is expecting her first child with actor Saif Ali Khan. Kareen Kapoor is all set to deliver the baby in December this year.
"Veere Di Wedding" producer Rhea Kapoor said that the reports about Kareena Kapoor is not doing the movie are completely untrue. "Kareena is very much a part of Veere Di Wedding" and will be shooting in October and early next year," Rhea said, Pinkvilla news portal reported. Earlier media reports said that the "Udta Punjab" actress has decided to leave the "Veere Di Wedding" due to health reasons.
Kareena also clarified saying that she is very much part of the movie and will finish first part of shooting in October and remaining part after the delivery. Kareena Kapoor, however, made it clear that she will not flaunt her baby bump on screen in the movie.
"Whichever role I do, I am not going to camouflage it on screen. I am proud of this phase (being pregnant) that I am in and there is nothing to hide about it," the "Heroine" actress said, Firstpost reported.
"Veere Di Wedding" is a women centric romance drama, which features Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania in lead roles along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Sonam Kapoor, who was last seen in superhit biopic "Neerja," will also start shooting for the chick-flick in Ocotober.
