Patches for "No Man's Sky" have recently been released for the PlayStation 4 and PC over the weekend. While the previous 1.04 update patch for the PS4 addresses bugs and stability issues to name a few, Hello Games released the  update patch 1.05 to rectify these even more. The PC, on the other hand, had a lot more issues and was given a heavy update.

In an article from PlayStation Lifestyle, the patch contains a 35MB worth of download. Only mentions of "bug fixes" have been reported so far. Reddit users have pointed out that the problems such as the Discovery menu bug and the known save issue have been fixed with the patch.

The Discovery menu bug involves the game crashing if it was closed before being "completely loaded." The save issue, on the other hand, caused the game not to save if players "loaded a previous save."

As the patch fixes those issues, Reddit users also mentioned some minor changes to the game such as certain objects being interacted from "couple of feet away now instead of walking straight up to it." Another change involved the fauna and flora discover pages loading a little slower, though it is not much of an issue.

Meanwhile, Gamespot mentions that the PC counterpart of "No Man's Sky" has been getting numerous problems as well and was heavily patched. Hello Games was compelled to release three patches, supposedly fixing 70 percent of the problems players encountered. The team currently is trying to work on the remaining 30 percent. Most the problems addressed involved performance issues and a variety of crashes.

The studio has been tracking these issues submitted straight to the developer, making them "incredibly busy" since the game's release. In addition to that, they also have been surveying actual players' feedback from sites like GOG, Steam and Reddit, focusing and categorizing the different issues being experienced.

Released on Aug. 12, "No Man's Sky" has been getting a lot of negative feedback mostly due to its issues. Hello Games are hoping that the next "major" patch released any time soon will be satisfy lots of customers who bought the game.
