Red Velvet is finally set to return on September.

SM Entertainment is truly busy nowadays with EXO's recent comeback and soon, with the five-member girl group, Red Velvet. Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri are on the last stage of producing a new album that will be released next month, SBS reported.

On March 17, the second mini album "The Velvet" was released after a day of postponement to make the record's quality high. The album showed the girls' talent in rhythm and blues which toned down their bright and confident image in their previous studio album and extended play. In fact, the members showed their vocal power in the ballad, "One of these nights." The third album is anticipated to have another twist on Red Velvet's image.

While on the process of recording their next album, the K-pop sensation members remain busy in various media appearances. This June, Irene discontinued hosting Music Bank while Joy became a part of the fourth season of "We Got Married." Recently, the girls had an appearance on the drama hit, "Descendants of the Sun" performing "Dumb Dumb."

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 through a digital track "Happiness." In 2015, their first album "The Red" landed in several charts including Gaon and Billboard World Albums. In just two years, the girls have already won a total of six recognitions including Best Dance, Best Dance Performance and Best Female Group.

Meanwhile, another SM artist is placed on the watch out list. The South Korean boy group, SHINee is ready to shine again after Red Velvet's comeback, Soompi reported.
