Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has finally opened up about his alleged break up with actress Katrina Kaif.
Breaking his silence for the first time on his alleged love affairs with British Indian beauty Katrina Kaif, Ranbir said he had never said that he had broken up with Kaif, Bollywood Life reported.
"Whatever I say is grossly misconstrued, there are a lot of interpretations. I've not even said that I've broken up you know, don't feel the need to talk about it," the "Tamasha" actor said in an interview with CNN IBN18's Rajiv Masand. "My personal life is very dear to me. What my relationship with Katrina is, was or going to be, it's really dear to me."
The 33-year-old actor also admits that his life is very much influenced by Kaif and considers her a motivational entity. "After my parents she has been the most influential, motivational entity in my life. I don't want to speak about it. No negativity, no sense of bitterness about it,"he said.
He also slammed media for spreading baseless rumors about her relationship with Katrina. "My relationship was really punctured by a lot of things; baseless rumors, reports, perceptions. I don't want to clarify," the actor added.
The couple, who reportedly broke up early this year, will be seen together in Anurag Basu' "Jagga Jasoos." Kaif is also busy with her upcoming movie "Baar Baar Dekho" opposite Sidharth Malhotra while Ranbir will be next seen in Karan Johar's Diwali release "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil."
