Recently, the Seoul Central District Court requested a new arrest warrant for Lee Jin Wooks' accuser. However, the warrant was denied again for the second time. The alleged victim, A, said that she was coerced into admitting that her sexual assault charges against the actor was fake in order to maintain his innocence.
Another arrest warrant for A was issued, however, Soompi reported that Judge Sung Chang Ho said a careful investigation should be done before accusing her of slander, since the alleged victim had motive to file for a lawsuit. She revealed that she was coerced by Lee's side into admitting that her accusations about the sexual assault were false. However, the defendants' side responded by stating that they have not heard A refute her statement to the police.
Weeks ago, All KPOP reported that A failed her lie detector test during the initial investigation. In her defense, she said she could not answer the questions properly because she was still in a confused state. Judge Sung Chang Ho accepted her defense which lead to to the denial of the first arrest warrant filed by Lees' side. Now the second arrest warrant has been denied again as the Judge stated that considerable evidence has already been obtained.
Though the recent evidences hinted by the Judge have not been revealed, A has previously filed an injury report from the alleged sexual assault incident which revealed bruises on various parts of her body. Upon investigation, Lee obtained no injuries in which his side explained that if there truly was a use of force then A would have resisted, leaving marks on the actors' body as well.
As of date, no new information has been revealed but the investigation continues.
