Reigning UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has continued to speak against the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and its roster of talents.

"The Notorious" had previously lambasted WWE in a statement he made during the UFC 202 pre-fight press conference early this month. The 28-year-old brash Irishman first spoke against Brock Lesnar, who had recently failed drug tests in connection to UFC 200. At the same time, he put on blast the WWE superstars for being "messed up p*ssies."

"There's some dons in that wrestling game. The McMahons, they're dons. Triple H is a don. The Rock is a don. But the rest of them are p*ssies," Bloody Elbow quoted McGregor as saying.

McGregor's statements did not sit well with some of the professional wrestling superstars, as he even went as far as drawing the ire of legends such as Ric Flair. "The Nature Boy" did respond to McGregor through a series of tweets, where he challenged the former to take on Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler.

He also claimed that McGregor copied off his UFC persona from him.

"Oh you're welcome for your gimmick," Flair said in one of his tweets.

McGregor held his own media scrum last week at the UFC gym in Las Vegas, where he touched on various subjects. One of which once again had the WWE in the conversation, and this time former champion John Cena was one of the targets of his rants.

According to MMA Fighting, McGregor poked fun at Cena's physical appearance and how he usually dressed during his appearances in the WWE.

"He's 40. He's 40 years of age. He's walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there. He's a big fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia mother f*cker."

At the same media scrum, he also acknowledged Flair's challenge by stating that he was open to it, and that the UFC was the "real sh*t with no script."

McGregor is set to face former lightweight title contender and Ultimate Fighter Season 5 winner Nate Diaz in non-title welterweight bout at UFC 202 on Aug. 20 in Las Vegas.
