HBO has announced a "Game of Thrones" musical tour, which is all set to be a complete musical extravaganza. The enchanting music of HBO's super hit fantasy show has garnered widespread praise from all quarters. It is not just the viewers who have been left mesmerized by the background score, even musicians have appreciated the tracks for their brilliance.

The nationwide musical tour will be under the "Game of Thrones" composer Ramin Djawadi, Entertainment Weekly reported. It is being produced by Live Nation and tickets are available for sale on livenation.com.  The concert starts from Feb. 15 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri, at Sprint Center and concludes on April 2, 2017 in Portland, Oregon, at Moda Center. Throughout the two months schedule, it is scheduled to move across 28 different cities.

Touted to be an immersive music and visual experience, the concert will be making use of high-end technology, full-scale orchestra, and choir to create a magical experience for the spectators. The idea is to take the fans of "Game of Thrones" on a musical journey of Westeros and Essos and let them soak the beauty of the vast landscape that passes through King's Landing, Winterfell, The Wall, Braavos, Meereen, the narrow sea and beyond.

To give the journey a full-fledged live touch, the concert will include footages from "Game of Thrones" as well as new images that have been specially created for the tour. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B Weiss have also said that they are more excited than anyone else as the concert experience will be unique in the history of concert tours.

The proclamation is undoubtedly a delight for fans but there is more. "Game of Thrones" spoilers might also feature on the concert as exciting new details about an extension of the show's universe will be revealed at the event, Gizmodo reported. Well, the universe is a vague term and it is not clear if it will be about a spin-off or a season 9 or a movie adaptation or something else.

Nonetheless, whatever it will be, the news is definitely music to the ears of the fans, who are sad with the impending end of "Game of Thrones."
