While "Suits'" recent "Turn" and "Trust" episodes have made it difficult to predict what's going to happen next, there is speculation that Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) and Mike Ross' (Patrick J. Adams) love story might come to an end.

"Suits" Season 6 follows the events of last season and instead of adding in a time jump, the story focuses on Mike's struggles in prison and Harvey Specter's (Gabriel Macht) attempts to get him out of there before he is harmed by Frank Gallo (Paul Schulze). However, the last two episodes of the legal drama have lead many to believe that Mike and Rachel are reaching their breaking point.

It is important to note that Rachel was devastated after Mike unselfishly left her at the altar on their wedding day to start his two-year prison sentence. In order to take her mind off Mike and the thought of having to spend the next two years of her life without Mike by her side, Rachel buries herself in work, including an Innocence Project case of a death row convict named Leonard Bailey, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Rachel's only ray of hope is Mike and Harvey's deal with Sean Cahill (Neal McDonough), which allows Mike to leave prison early in exchange for getting his cellmate to turn (Erik Palladino) on his father-in-law William Sutter (Alan Rosenberg). However, if the deal does not work out, Rachel is going to relive the wedding day grief all over again, leading her to take on more work as a distraction, according to Zap2it.

If Rachel wins the high-profile Innocence Project case, its going to put her name on the map. The feeling of earning a victory by fighting for what's right might drive her with ambition to become like Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres). Rachel's career goals of becoming a respected partner at a reputed law firm and her love for a convict who is serving a prison sentence for being a fake lawyer might lead her to make a choice between her career and Mike.

This storyline could very well be a possibility but with the series renewed for another season, it's difficult to predict the future of Mike and Rachel's relationship. "Suits" airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. on USA Network.
