The Indian censor board has given clearance certificate to "Mohenjo Daro" movie with three kissing scenes between Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) approval to Ashutosh Gowarikar's pre-historic romance action drama without any cut came surprise to many, as Pankaj Pahlaj Nihalani-headed board recently objected to kissing scenes in several movies, Firstpost reported.
It can be remembered that the Indian censor board had refused to approve James Bond movie "Spectre," Bollywood movies "Tamasha" and "Do Lafzo Ki Kahani" due to intimate kissing scenes.
South Indian actress Pooja Hegde, who is debuting in Bollywood with "Mohenjo Daro," said that her onscreen lip-lock scene with Hrithik Roshan in upcoming movie is one of best ever.
"You always want it (kiss) to look good on screen as you can go wrong with stuff like that. I think we have got one of the best onscreen kisses in Mohenjo Daro," she said in an interview with Press Trust of India news agency.
"I was never intimidated (while doing kissing scene) as we were like friends. We never looked at it like it's a kissing scene, we are doing it as our characters in the film."
"Lagaan" fame Gowarikar's "Mohenjo Daro" is set to hit theaters on August 12. It will clash at box office with Akshay Kumar's "Rustom."
