(Photo : YouTube) The latest development on Lee Jin Wook's sexual assault case is that the actor and the plaintiff have undergone lie detector tests as police officials are figuring out if she made false claims against the actor. Also, her legal representative has withdrawn from the case and has a new attorney.

It has been announced on July 24 that the lawyer representing the plaintiff, known only as "A," in the sexual assault case involving Lee Jin Wook withdrew from the case and has offered an explanation for the sudden move.

The lawyer, identified as Son Soo Ho with the law firm Hyunjai, said in a statement that the primary reasons for his withdrawal from the case are the differences in opinion with the plaintiff as to how they should deal with the new facts about the case as well as how the investigation should push through. Son did not, however, offer any detail regarding the differences in his opinion with that of A. The other reason is said to be "severe damage in trust," Soompi reported.

Son added that for the past weeks since he handled the sexual assault case against Lee, he trusted A and did everything he could in the interests of his client. He added that a new lawyer has been appointed to handle the case of A against Lee. He also assured that he and his law firm will keep the facts of the case confidential.

Meanwhile, A was reportedly summoned to the Suseo Police Station, the branch of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency (SMPA) in charge of the sexual assault case, on July 22 and 23. She was interrogated again during those dates, All KPop reported. A police officer reportedly said that they are focusing as of the moment on whether A has pressed false charges against Lee.

Lee and his legal team said that they are yet to confirm the reports that the former legal representative of A has withdrawn from the case. They have no further comments about it.

Lee and A have also recently submitted to lie detector tests following the conflicting text messages that both camps have released. It is expected that the results will be revealed before the end of the month. The investigation on the case continues.
