The Hello Kitty Spam Musubi can now be enjoyed by most homes with its new available "kawaii" kit. The kit, which is made of an oriental dish and spam, is making a wave in the country as a lot of interested buyers were in line to get it at the Hello Kitty's Supercute Friendship Festival that was held in California this year.

The festival that happened last June also showed the popularity of Hello Kitty and Spam. Soon after the doors opened at the festival, customers started to head straight to the Spam booth, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Spam is considered a staple can since 1937. In fact, it has now sold eight billion cans to date, as reported by Food World News. Hello Kitty, on the other hand, is a fictional character that first appeared in 1974 and became a global marketing phenomenon. Hello Kitty turned 40 this year and is worth $7 billion a year even without advertising.

Hello Kitty's brand can be seen in a variety of products ranging from school supplies, fashion accessories, and high-end consumer products. Now, with the Hello Kitty Spam Musubi, fans can enjoy Hello Kitty while eating their favorite Spam.

Because of its popularity, Food Beast is now going to help its fans to create the Hello Kitty Spam Musubi from their homes. The Hello Kitty Spam Musubi first started in Japan and became popular in Hawaii. It is a combination of sushi and cooked spam. The Spam will then be placed in a rectangular rice wrapped with nori to be served and eaten.

Food Beast will be giving its fans a chance to get the Hello Kitty Spam Musubi on their website for a limited time offer. No need to wait for the next festival to come as Spam and Hello Kitty lovers can enjoy the delight of having their own "kawaii" kit now.
