Rihanna To Start Her 'Anti' World Tour; Asia Not Included

R&B superstar Rihanna will take the world by storm as she officially announced her "Anti" world tour concert next year. But, don't get excited just yet. If you are based in Asia, it is likely that she will not be going there.

When Rihanna announced her "world tour," she meant she will tour and have her concerts across North America and Europe. She will perform 36 shows across the U.S. And Canada, and 23 shows across Europe.

Fans, however, should not get disappointed since Rihanna has already visited some parts of Asia as part of her "Diamonds" world tour last September 2013. She performed in Singapore, Macau, and the Philippines last time as mentioned by Music Weekly, although there is no mention of any Asian dates for her "Anti" world tour just yet.

The announcement of her world tour is also an indication that her latest album will be out pretty soon. The launch of her album's release date has been kept a secret. But since her tour will start on Feb. 26 in San Diego, fans can expect that her "Anti" album will come before that date.

Rihanna has sold 54 million albums since her launch in 2005. Her last full-length album was in 2012 entitled "Unapologetic", which makes 2015 "Anti" her much-awaited album.

To further promote her latest album, the Barbados-born singer made a partnership with an electronic giant in launching an app for her album that is only accessible on smartphones, according to the Tribune. Rihanna will also be selling her concert tickets at an earlier date for Tidal subscribers.

For Asian fans who are still wondering when Rihanna would visit Asia, it is still early to tell and 2016 has not started yet so there may still be some hope.
