"Game of Thrones" Season 7's Jack Bender revealed that the upcoming season will be having seven episodes, and that director Alan Taylor will be back to direct the show. HBO is also keeping the hopes of viewers alive by assuring them that the show will air until Season 10.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will still show Jon Snow, Tyrion, Cersei, Jaime and Daenerys. The actors playing the characters' roles have signed-up contracts until "Game of Thrones" Season 7 since 2014. However, Dan Weiss and David Benoiff, the show's creators have been saying that they want to wrap up the story as concise as possible, Cinemablend reported.

During the "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Jaime and Cersei looked at each other as if they were in shock. Jaime's son is dead and no one would accept Cersei willingly as queen. Rumors say that Jaime may have to put his sister, Cersei, down.

A "Game of Thrones" Season 7 theory indicates that Cersei will be dead. The said theory was supported by the fact that Maggie had a prophecy that Cersei would die in the hands of her little brother; however, it may not be Jaime since they also have a brother, Tyrion, who teamed up with the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, and could overthrow Cersei.

As for Daenerys and her growing team, "Game of Thrones" Season 7 may feature them going to King's Landing. In "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Daario said that the Lannisters would have nowhere to run when she hits King's Landing and battle there.

Another "Game of Thrones" Season 7 prediction is that Sansa may not fully trust Littlefinger again, and may even cause Jon Snow and Sansa to engage in a sibling rivalry. The series' fans, however, are positive that if this happens, Sansa would not win against Jon Snow, Screenrant reported.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is set to air in 2017.
