The upcoming "Mr. Robot" Season 2 will roll out episodes that will deal with the aftermath of the destructive hack that shocked viewers last season, while exploring on Elliot's arc battling his mental illness.

Series star Carly Chaikin, who plays Darlene, previewed that there are certain "repercussions" from "Mr. Robot" Season 1 that Elliot and co. will have to deal with through show's second run. "This season, they're struggling being on two different pages in regards to how they feel about what just happened," Chaikin told USA Today. "But of course, they always stick together."

While the others are facing the aftermath of the large-scale corporate hack, lead protagonist Elliot (played by Ramie Malek) will be facing a whole different struggle of his own. The actor revealed that in "Mr. Robot" Season 2, viewers will find his mentally-wrecked character in a state where he tries to keep himself from "making any more mistakes" and from "causing more collateral damage."

Elliot's current perception about keeping things under control will have an impact on his overall trajectory in "Mr. Robot" Season 2, creator Sam Esmail explained. To this end, viewers can expect Elliot maintaining a strict daily routine, while exiling himself from everyone close to him as the hacker drama moves forward.

Ahead of the show's Season 2 premiere, USA Network announced that the cast and crew of "Mr. Robot" will join this year's Comic Con at San Diego, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The panel, moderated by @midnight host Chris Hardwick, is scheduled on July 21. The cable network, however, did not disclose whether or not they will release new footage from "Mr. Robot" Season 2.

"Mr. Robot" Season 2 will air on Wednesday, July 13 on USA Network.
