Actor David Harewood recently confirmed that he will be reprising his role as the Martian Manhunter in "Supergirl" Season 2, and revealed the title for the first episode of the popular superhero series.

According to Movie News Guide, Harewood stated that the start of "Supergirl" Season 2 will be as exciting and as spirited as the first season, and shared that the title of the first episode will be "The Adventures of Supergirl." The title is widely seen as a connection to Superman, who has a comic volume of the same title.

It was believed that some characters may not be returning in "Supergirl" Season 2 due to budget cuts when the series left the CBS network and moved over to join the CW DC Universe, as reported by Comic Book Movie. There were initial speculations that Harewood, who plays Hank Henshaw, will not return due to the costs of transforming him into Martian Manhunter via CGI. Fortunately, his character will return in "Supergirl" Season 2, as Henshaw is an important component in the story line of the series.

Since "Supergirl" Season 2 promises to be as exciting as the first one, reports are loud that Clark Kent/Superman will be appearing in the second season and will play an integral part of the show. There is no confirmation yet as to who will play the role of the superhero icon, but show insiders have confirmed that he will be making an actual appearance and not as a CGI.

It is also said that Superman will be a recurring role in "Supergirl" Season 2, although no confirmation has been done yet regarding the matter. The show is also expected to have multiple crossovers with the other DC shows in the CW Network, which is sure to excite fans of the shows.

"Supergirl" Season 2 will debut in the CW Network this Oct. 10.
