Angel Locsin recently shared her thoughts on the rumor that her ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano and fellow actress Jessy Mendiola have developed a romantic relationship.
Locsin gave her comments during an interview in the June 29 Smart Padala launch, where she was introduced as the new endorser of the telecommunications giant. In the interview, the popular actress stated that she is in no position to comment on the issue, since Manzano and Mendiola are not even confirming the romance rumors. She also stated that she has always not talked about personal things and feels that it would be better that way.
Locsin also declared that she will always want Manzano to be happy and that she wishes nothing but the best for him despite the end of their relationship, adding that she is happy as long as Manzano is happy. The actress also admitted that she is slowly getting over the relationship, and that she is currently going thru the process of recovery.
Manzano and Locsin have been silent on the details about why their relationship failed, although Manzano has since told reporters that he and Locsin remain friends despite their breakup. Mendiola, on the other hand, broke her silence about the ongoing rumors. In a June 30 interview with ABS-CBN, Mendiola stated that while she is not sure that the actor is courting her, she is open to the possibility, and that Manzano definitely has a chance if ever he courts her.
It is well known that this is not the first time that Locsin and Manzano broke up. They first got together in 2008 but ended their relationship in 2009 due to still undisclosed reasons. They reunited in 2014 after having tried romantic relationships with other individuals.
