50 Cent is heading back home to the United States after being arrested at St. Kitts in the Caribbean for using foul language during a performance.

50 Cent was invited to the Caribbean to headline the St. Kitts Music Festival. The rapper, famous for his popular hit In Da Club, was arrested after using profanities while performing the song P.I.M.P. in front of a 40,000-strong crowd.  According to TMZ, 50 Cent had been repeatedly warned not to use profane language while onstage.

50 Cent was arrested immediately after the performance and was charged under the Small Charges Act which prohibits the use of foul or indecent language in public. Another member of his entourage, who was identified as Bajar Walte, was also arrested on the same charge. The rapper also had to surrender his travel documents pending a court appearance.

According to 50 Cent's spokeswoman Amanda Ruisi, the rapper was invited only to host the show initially, but the event organizers insisted that he performs and were able to coax the rapper into doing so. She revealed that 50 Cent used the DJ that they had, and unfortunately they did not have a clean version of his songs.

Ruisi stated that the issue has been settled as 50 Cent already appeared in court and has paid a fine. She revealed that he was headed back to the United States.

This is not the first of such incident in St. Kitts, as DMX was also arrested for using profane language on stage during the same music festival in 2003, Yahoo reported.
