Sandara Park recently said her farewell to the hit JTBC show Sugar Man. The Kpop star co-hosted the show with Kim Ea-na, Yoo Jae-sku and Yoo Hee-yeol.

On June 22, the 2NE1 member posted photos of herself holding a banner on her Instagram. The banner shows the phrase "Everyone We're So Glad You Came Today" - this was her catch phrase on the show. In the caption of one of her photos, Sandara thanked Sugar Man and expressed happiness that she was a part of the show.

Sugar Man was a television program that debuted in August 2015 via a two-episode pilot and began its regular programming in October 2015. The show is based on a documentary about an American singer who faded from the limelight but suddenly ended up being a hit and taking South Africa by storm. The show features a competition between two teams led by Yoo Hee-yeol and Yoo Jae-suk respectively. True to the concept of the documentary, the show features popular hits sung by artists who have faded into obscurity. Each team had a featured new artist, and they attempted to recreate a hit song and make it more appealing to today's audience.

The show also invites the original artists, called "Sugar Men" in the show, to talk about their lives after they left the limelight and also to perform their songs.

The show was a big hit in Korea, garnering good ratings from both TNMS and AGB Nielsen. Despite its popularity, producers have decided to cancel it as the show was initially intended to be a short-term project. Another reason that might have led to the ending of the show is that the producers have run out of "Sugar Men" to invite to appear in the show. The crew filmed their last episode on June 22, and the finale will be aired sometime in July.
