Yoochun can still be found guilty even if the four women who accused him of sexual assault retract their claims, according to the police in charge of the investigation.

The popular JYJ singer has neem under fire lately due to a string of sexual assault complaints filed against him by four women.

Ms. Lee, the first woman complainant, filed a complaint against Yoochun early last week, which proved to be the start of succeeding complaints against the singer. Ms. Lee later retracted her statement and now claims that the singer is innocent. Yoochun has also insisted on his innocence along with his entertainment agency C-Jes Entertainment. The company filed counter lawsuits against the women on June 20.

According to the police, it is hard to get definitive evidence in the case because of the timelines. Some of the complaints date back as far as two years ago.

As evidence, one woman submitted purported texts she sent to friends about Yoochun referring to him by his real name and a copy of a therapy session she went through the day after the alleged assault took place.

The police are expected to be vigilant in their investigation and will closely observe the proceedings in the case as all of the four women are workers in the adult entertainment industry, and all the alleged assaults happened in bathrooms.

Yoochun can still be found guilty of prostitution if it is proven that he paid for sexual services from the women.

Meanwhile, authorities are yet to reveal whether Yoochun's DNA matches the male DNA found on the underwear of one of the complainants.
