Mamamoo Promotes Milk

Popular girl group Mamamoo have been tapped to become models to advocate milk consumption. In a statement, a milk committee declared that the talented group has been chosen not only because of their bouncy and healthy image, but because their charms are an ideal match with milk.

Mamamoo had an all-day commercial film and photo shoot in Seoul on June 8. They also began promotional activities to encourage milk consumption. The commercial film will air for three months starting July 1.

The group, which was also recently chosen as brand models for Leaders Cosmetic, did a special performance at the Milk Day Event. They declared that they drink a glass of milk for breakfast especially when they have busy schedules. They also mentioned that they often drink milk together because of their love for spicy food, and confessed that they like the smoothness and aroma of the drink.

Mamamoo is very happy to be chosen to promote milk, saying it is an honor. They discussed the benefits of drinking milk.

Mamaroo is composed of Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. They made their debut in 2014 with the single Mr. Ambigious and shot to fame instantly. Their hit single Peppermint Chocolate was very popular and was ranked 11th on the Gaon Digital Chart on its first week. They claimed the New Artist of the Year award in the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. They also won the Idol of the Year award at the 2015 Bugs Awards.
