Has Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson finally rekindled their romance six years after they were first linked?
Well, in a way, they just have, but no longer in real life.
According to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the 28-year-old actress and 27-year-old actor have been back in each other's arms as they are filming for a still untitled movie.
"Anj & Nino #starcinema," the former "Budoy" actor captioned a photo on Instagram, which showed the two of them together in a scene.
There are speculations that the names Anderson mentioned are those of his and Bea's characters in the upcoming Star Cinema project.
The film is reportedly being directed by Dan Villegas.
While Anderson and Bea's reunion project has brought some excitement to their followers, the latter admitted that it "felt weird" acting side-by-side her ex-beau. Meanwhile, Anderson said that the feeling was "surreal."
In an interview with ABS-CBN's "Tonight with Boy Abunda," according to Philippine Star, the actor, who was also romantically linked to fellow Kapamilya stars Maja Salvador and Kim Chiu, told the host that he still has the "spark" for his ex-girlfriend.
"Para sa akin never naman nawala (For me, it never disappeared)," he quipped when asked if he still has feeling for her. "Tingnan mo naman siya, lagi siyang may spark (Look at her, she always has the spark)."
The new movie featuring Bea and Anderson is expected to be released in 2016.
