Hung is said to be cheating on Tong with his former girlfriend, who is an image consultant, Bird Tse. Tse posted a photo of her with Hung attending a wedding together. It did not seem like it was a friendly encounter as the photo had a lot of heart stickers on it making fans speculate over the possibility that she and Hung have gotten back together while he is still in a relationship with Tong.
Reports have surfaced claiming that Tong was extremely upset and broke down into dears during a public argument with Hung.
In a recent interview, Tong took the opportunity to clear the reports about the supposed public argument with Hung. She explained that whenever she looks grumpy, she does not smile so people might have assumed that they were arguing during their outing. She explained that she was not crying. Her eyes became red and watery because an eyelash got into her eye, she said.
There have been reports that Tong and Hung were planning to purchase a home where they could live together in preparation for their marriage. During the interview, the actress said that there were no marriage plans, so the reports about their purchase of a home being put on hold are not true.
Tong was also asked about the photo of Hung and his ex-girlfriend. Tong did not directly comment on that, but she revealed that during that time, Hung told her he was going to go out for drinks. "I never try to control my other half. It makes it hard for me. When you control a man, the relationship will not last long. Grown-ups should know what they are doing. I don't have any specific restrictions. I understand the value of respect," she said.
