BigHit Entertainment has appealed to fans to respect the privacy and personal space of BTS, the popular KPop band. The appeal is being made after a recent incident in Taiwan where a crowd went wild and rowdy, resulting in the band members nearly getting hurt.

A picture circulating online shows fans milling around the popular group and apparently going too far. The picture also shows member Jimin being picked up by BighHit staff members after falling due to fans pushing and shoving. Suga and Jin almost fell as well due to the chaos.

Sources have revealed that the incident happened after fans tried to get too close to the group. Some fans tried to touch and mob the group due to their excitement, resulting in the chaos. Some sources claim that a group of fans also deliberately booked the same flight as BTS and kept trying to take pictures of the group as well as talking to them.

In an official post on Twitter, BigHit requested fans to follow proper etiquette to ensure safety and also respect for BTS. The company said it regrets the recent incident in Taiwan and appealed to fans for sobriety, saying the actions could cause harm not only to the group but also to fans.

BTS is currently participating in the 2016 BTS LIVE tour which includes countries such as Taiwan and Japan. BigHit Entertainment formed the band in 2013, and the group shot to fame following their hit song "No More Dream" in 2013. BTS has won multiple New Artist Awards that year. The group has become very popular due to their outstanding performances and won the Best World Performer award at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
