Hong Kong Cantopop singer Jade Kwan has posed for maternity photos alongside her husband Jonas Young showing off her huge baby bump in her eighth month.
Kwan is pregnant with a baby girl and has described the child as her little princess. The baby is expected to be delivered later this month or early next month. In the photos that surfaced online, Kwan was seen cradling her bump while in another, her growing belly was being embraced by her husband from behind.
In a recent interview, the singer admits that she gets easily tired since she is in the last stages of her pregnancy. Kwan said that her doctor has advised her to control her weight as she could be susceptible to gestational diabetes.
Kwan joked that it is much more difficult to control her weight gain than to prepare for a concert. The 36-year-old also revealed that she has talked to her friends and read books regarding breastfeeding.
"Everyone all said yes to breastfeeding since it has immense benefits for the child and it also helps develop a special bonding with the baby," she said.
She disclosed that she and her husband have taken a prenatal breastfeeding class to learn about how milk is made, what it the best position for the baby, latching, as well as where to get help once their little princess is born. She pointed out that she feels breastfeeding will be difficult, but she will do whatever is necessary for her baby's health.
Kwan and Young made the announcement that they were expecting a child earlier this year via her Weibo account. On her sixth month of her pregnancy, she revealed the gender of her baby. "This is just as I wished! I'm so thankful! #itsagirl," she wrote.
The singer has expressed s desire to have a baby girl as her first child in the past.
