Kpop group Highlight drops schedule for comeback

South Korean boy group Highlight has finally released the list of schedule for its much-awaited comeback this month.

According to the lineup shared by the group in its social media outlets, the track list of their album will be released on the May 16, followed by teaser shots on the May 17 and 18, album preview and album pre-order on May 19, and “Highlight Call” on May 22. On the other hand, the lyric spoilers, as well as the music video teasers 1 to 3, will be released on May 23 to 26 while their first repackaged mini album will be published on May 29 at 6 pm, All Kpop reported.

Meanwhile, Highlight has once again made it to the Korean Business Research Institute’s “Boy Group Brand Reputation” rankings for the month of May. In the list published by the company, the band was placed on the tenth spot while BTS dominated the top spot with a total score of with a total score of 7,899,583 followed by SECHSKIES with 5,539,871 points and WINNER with 5,426,260. Also included in the lineup are EXO, BIGBANG, SHINee, BTOB, INFINITE, SEVENTEEN, Block B, and NU’EST, Soompi reported.

Highlight was introduced in the entertainment industry in 2009 as “B2ST” under the management of Cube Entertainment with six members including Yoon Doo Joon, Yong Jun Hyung, Yang Yo Seob, Lee Gi Kwang, Son Dong Woon and Jang Hyun Seung. Earlier this year, the band announced that they will be saying goodbye with their former label to start anew. However, Jang chose to stay with the agency to pursue his career as a solo artist.

Upon their departure with Cube Entertainment, the group changed their name into “Highlight” and formed their own company Around Us Entertainment. They reintroduced their band with the mini album “Can You Feel It?”.
