Beast Titan revealed in 'Attack on Titan' season 2 trailer

"Attack on Titan" season 2 proves to be a very emotional and powerful series that ups the ante in many ways. Betrayal, epic Titan fights and deep storyline pushes the boundary of anime storytelling as Erin and the rest of the Survey Corp deal with something bigger than they have anticipated.

The Story so Far (Warning: Spoilers)

The second season of the popular anime "Attack on Titan" is unfortunately, already half-way. According to My Anime List, the current series is only going to last for 12 episodes and the past six has been mostly brilliant. The latest episode features one of the biggest reveals in the series following a stage set for a battle for the ages.

The latest episode of the anime series reveals the identity of Reiner and Bertolt as the Armored and Colossal Titan, respectively. Although it was just casually revealed, the way they presented themselves after learning of Eren's decision should not be missed by the fan of the series and its original manga source. The revelation makes it a full circle for Reiner, Bertolt and Anne as they aggressively push on their goal to return to their homeland.

Mikasa's Prowess

While the latest episode actually focuses on Eren's decision not to side with his fellow Titan shifters, Den of Geek also ponders the importance of Mikasa Ackerman - Eren's friend and possibly the best soldier in the Survey Corps. Manga readers will also attest to her prowess for a totally different reason since her capability goes beyond her training days and experience.

It's quite unfortunate that the current series will only run for a dozen episodes. Next week is the second half of the series which will cover a good number of manga chapters but not enough to reach a very important point in AoT's story arc. But the upcoming epic battle between Eren and Reiner is a must watch for anime fans.
