KPop idol Minzy opened up about her learnings and experiences as a young star in her recent guesting on KBS2's reality show ”Hello Counselor”.

The 23-year-old star revealed that she had been called as an “adult child” because of her early debut in the show business industry. However, the situation did not become an obstacle for her at all as she had gained a lot of learnings about the society through her experiences.

She added as quoted by All KPop: “Since both of my parents worked when I was little, there were many times I had to take care of myself."

Aside from Minzy, several Hallyu stars had also appeared in the show. This includes Solbin of the KPop group LABOUM's, ZN as well as “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth” actor Kim Min Joon.

Meanwhile, the former 2NE1 member was recently chosen as one of the featured stars of the fashion, beauty, and entertainment magazine BNT International. In the interview, the artist shared how she prepared for her solo debut and has likewise shared her thoughts about her “Sister’s Slam Dunk Season 2” co-stars.

“Since 2NE1’s image was so strong, the girl crush concept just stayed naturally, but I’m more of a girly girl on the inside. For my solo, I wanted to take off the mysterious image and approach the public more easily,” said Minzy as quoted by All KPop.

“...“I really wanted to be on stage, but since the hiatus was so long, I felt like I wasn’t moving forward and was just standing still. So I went to LA and learned to dance at a dance school there,” she added.

Born as Gong Min Ji, the singer began her entertainment career in 2009 after joining 2NE1 alongside Bom, Dara, and CL. After the group’s disbandment in January this year, Minzy released her solo debut EP titled “Minzy Work 01 Uno".
