Ellen DeGeneres certainly has a way to find or create humor in unfortunate circumstances that happen even to herself, after she made jokes on how she was taken to the emergency room by her wife Portia de Rossi after falling into a door, after having two glasses of wine.
According to a statement made by Ellen DeGeneres herself, she explained how she ended up being taken into the emergency room by her wife Portia due to being intoxicated with two glasses of wine. She was reportedly aiming to walk in when her dogs were so excited to see her that she missed a step, and fell into the door. She felt that there was something wrong with her hand when she noticed a finger splint. News reported that she was then taken to the emergency room by her wife Portia, wherein it was found out that she had a dislocate finger.
She humorously pointed out that having a dislocated finger was an incorrect statement, since her finger was still on the same location, calls it as wrongly located. Furthermore, when something is dislocated in any part of the body, what the doctors do is to snap it right back into place. When asked if she wanted a shot before the procedure was done, she declined by pointing out that she already had two glasses of wine which was what got her into the whole mess in the first place. Thus, she ended up feeling every pain in her body as the finger was snapped right back into its original place after having been dislocated.
Despite the unfortunate incident, it cannot be denied that DeGeneres and her wife Portia have a very acquired taste in design as they show off the house that is currently on the market for $45 million and it definitely does not disappoint. It is located in Montecito, Santa Barbara and it is nothing like and ordinary or vague celebrity mansion as reported by Domain.
