‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ actress Park Bo Young talks about taking the same roles in drama seriesBy / 2017.03.17
From her character as Na Bong Sun in "Oh My Ghostess," to playing the lead role in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," Park Bo Young has displayed her cute and lovely image in most of her acting projects.
Hence, the actress admitted she will have to think twice whether to keep the image or try something else in the future. During a press conference for "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," Park Bo Young added changing her image will not be easy.
"As I have appeared in a number of fairly similar projects recently, many people have been saying that I always take on the same role no matter what I act in so I've made it my goal [to change that]," she said as per Soompi.
Park Bo Young thought her role in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" is almost similar to her character in "Oh My Ghostess," wherein she played as an assistant chef with a timid personality.
"I feel like I may be reaching a limit with this [lovely, cutesy] image. I see it as a huge mountain I'm going to have to cross over eventually as an actress," the actress added.
Although she has been receiving good feedbacks for her previous and current roles, Park Bo Young shared she might have to reconsider the roles she will be taking for her future projects.
When asked about the reason for taking the lead role in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," Park Bo Young it was the story that captured her. "I personally have great interest in matters happening in society," she said as cited by Allkpop.
"And I got vicarious satisfaction after reading the script of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." She's stronger than most guys so she never gets intimidated and she's always confident," Park Bo Young continued.
