Aamir Khan News: How is Actor Preparing for New Film ‘Dangal’

How is Bollywood actor Aamir Khan preparing for his upcoming film "Dangal?"

Khan is known to be a brilliant artist, as shown in his outstanding performance in comedy-drama "3 Idiots" and the thriller "Ghajini." The 51-year-old actor is once again expected to bring out the best in him.

According to Hindustan Times, the "Dangal" star has even hired a professional wrestler to train with so that he will appear natural when he executes certain moves as he portrays Mahavir Singh Phogat.

"Aamir was taking wrestling tips from Krapashankar Vishnoi, who is an Arjuna awardee," Ravindra Kumar told the news site about how he got to train Aamir Khan. "But Vishnoi is currently training the women's national team in Lucknow and suggested that Aamir take wrestling tips from me."

Kumar, who was personally approached by Aamir Khan Productions, stated that he has already met with the film's writer and director Nitesh Tiwari and has "discussed wrestling at length with Aamir" as well.

Kumar, known as Ravindra Pahalwan, is an expert in wrestling as evident from the numerous gold medals he has taken home from different national competitions.

In the meantime, Dangal.net revealed that the lead star of the project from The Walt Disney Company (India) appears to have lost much weight when he was spotted in Arizona, USA recently. Aamir Khan, who was reportedly 95 kilograms when "Dangal" filming started few months ago, is now 25 kilograms lighter.

To get in shape, Khan had to follow a strict diet and ensure that he works out for eight to 10 hours daily.
