SISTAR's Hyolyn is on her way to become the next K-pop idol to make her US debut.  Hyolyn's US debut became a hot topic recently after the singer signed a contract with Spinnin' Records, a popular Dutch independent record label that focuses on EDM.

The announcement was made by Starship Entertainment. It was revealed that Hyolyn is the first K-Pop and Asian artist to sign a contract with Spinnin' Records. According to Koreaboo, Hyolyn's special collaboration track with DJ Justin Oh will be released globally in March. The English version of the track will be out on March 10 and the Korean version will be available the following day. There is much anticipation for Hyolyn's upcoming track, especially since she recently showed her rapping prowess in Mnet's "Unpretty Rapstar."

Spinnin' Records is home of the biggest hit makers in the EDM scene, including Calvin Harris, Far East Movement and Tiësto.

Aside from Hyolyn's work with Spinnin' Records, she's also scheduled to do her first ever solo concert tour in the US. Hyolyn's US debut will be accompanied with a concert tour that will take place in New York and Los Angeles in Mid-March of 2017, allkpop reported. It will be a small, intimate event with fans with only limited tickets available. Hyolyn's US concert will be produced by Starship Entertainment and Transparent Agency.

Before her solo concert, Hyolyn is slated to perform at the South by Southwest (SXSW) K-Pop showcase in Austin, Texas on March. 17. Aside from Hyolyn, Korean acts Red Velvet, Galaxy Express, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, No Brain and Big Phony will also perform.

The SXSW is one of the largest music festivals in the world. The showcase is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) in order to bring Korean artists into the international music scene.
