On the Feb. 3 installment of "Newlywed Diary," Ahn Jae Hyun talked about how he felt upon meeting Goo Hye Sun during the script reading of drama series "Blood."
Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun were among the main cast of the KBS2 series, where they played as Park Ji Sang and Yoo Ri Ta, respectively. The 20-episode medical drama follows the story of a vampire who fell in love with a human being.
"I first saw Goo Hye Sun when she was doing her first full reading of the drama "Blood." My eyes turned into hearts at first sight. I couldn't hide that I liked her," Ahn Jae Hyun said as per Allkpop.
In the drama, Ahn Jae Hyun took the role of the vampire who finds himself falling in love with Goo Hye Sun's character. Shortly after "Blood" wrapped up, the two actors were mired in dating rumors which were immediately confirmed by their agencies.
When asked about their first kiss, Ahn Jae Hyun proudly said his wife was the one who initiated the kiss. "She made the move on the first kiss. We kissed before she went into filming a scene where she had to kiss that day," he revealed.
The actress defended herself and said, "I didn't dislike that a handsome guy was staring at me. That's why I just kissed him first."
According to Soompi, Goo Hye Sun revealed her first meeting with the actor was kind of awkward. The actress felt that Ahn Jae Hyun was keeping an eye on her while they were having a dinner with the director of "Blood."
While filming for the drama series, Ahn Jae Hyun even made a funny mistake of outwardly expressing his admiration towards the actress. Unaware of the fact that the pin microphone would pick his voice, the actor told Goo Hye Sun that she was pretty which was heard by everyone on the set.
