The adventures of Rito Yuki may soon end in "To Love Ru Darkness" but that doesn't mean the gang will forever disappear from manga. Recent news indicates that the manga could be ending and would soon return with a different title.

Manga Series Ending Soon?

"To Love Ru Darkness" has enjoyed years of popularity since 2006. From its early years with Weekly Shonen Jump to its current home at Jump Square, it has attracted fans because of its fun, quirky romantic theme. Although it shifted to monthly series on "To Love Ru Darkness," the shift to harem storyline has cemented the manga's popularity.

But after seven years, it looks like the manga is about to wrap up its current storyline. According to Crunchyroll, recent leaks indicate that the upcoming end of the story arc will also be the end of the current manga series.

Although the current arc will end the series, the leaks also indicate that the manga will still return but with a brand new title. No news about the title yet but it does breathe new life to the manga.

No New Anime Series in 2017

Although the manga's ending also confirms something brand new is coming, fans of "To Love Ru Darkness" in anime format will have to be a little bit more patient for the third series. The timeline of releases between both seasons is three years and the second iteration of the popular anime was just released last year.

When-will also confirmed that the studio behind the popular anime series is yet to confirm another season. Although it will take some time before a brand new series is announced, the fact that the manga will live on with another name means that a new series is just around the corner. For now, the return of Rito and his harem in anime is still on hold.
