(Photo : Photo by Spencer Platt/Getty Images) NEW YORK, NY - SEPTEMBER 16: One of the first customers to buy a new iPhone walks out of an Apple store in Manhattan on September 16, 2016 in New York City. People around the globe waited in long lines to be among the first to purchase both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. The phones offer longer battery life, faster browsing, a better camera and do not have a traditional headphone jack.

Some of Apple's Asian-based iPhone component suppliers are posting leaks about the upgrades and developments for the iPhone 8. The consensus is that instead of going for an iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus, Apple will release the iPhone 8. And the recent leaks brim of cool new features that will once again take the world by storm.

The iPhones remain to be the best-selling smartphones in the world. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, which only accounted for 28.9 percent of the entire smartphone sale in the US market, the iPhone 6S, 7, and 7 Plus combined accounted for 31.3 percent of the sale. Now that the possibility of Apple releasing an iPhone 8 is so high, the company will no doubt be dominating the smartphone market once more, especially because of the sick features being leaked online.

The company Lite-On Semiconductor will be providing the wireless charging components for the new iPhone, Mac Rumors reported. According to the report, the Taiwan-based company will supply the integrated chip components for its wireless charging capability. They produce the bridge rectifier that makes wireless charging possible.

Taiwan Stock Exchange reported that the company's share price hit its 10 percent daily limit. The company have obtained half of the orders of GPP bridge rectifiers. This comes in the heels of Apple announcing that they're working to provide wireless charging technology to consumers.

If this is true then the iPhone 8 will be superior to any wireless charging gadgets sold in the market today. That's because it does not require the iPhone 8 to be close to a charging mat or charging source. Foxconn and Energous are both testing wireless charging modules and over-the-air charging technology for Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone.

On the other hand, Cowen and Company analyst Timothy Arcuri revealed something that makes the next iPhone more exciting. According to him, the iPhone 8, which he calls iPhone X, will be integrating gesture and facial recognition in the OLED version. He says it will be powered by infrared and laser sensors that are located in the front camera, Forbes reported.

For years, Cowen and Company were able to make accurate guesses about the features of the next iPhones. However, some of their predictions didn't come true as well. For example, they predicted that iPhone 6 Plus will have a more powerful processor than the smaller one, which wasn't true at all.

So with all these leaks and rumors floating around, it's best that members of the Apple cult treat them with a grain of salt and wait out until Apple itself will unveil what's in store for the world.
