The popular Korean drama "Legend of the Blue Sea" hit a dramatic crescendo in its latest installment, Episode 18, after Kang Seo Hee's (Oh Yeon Ah) confession over the death of her husband, and subsequent arrest alongside Heo Chi Hyun (Lee Ji Hoon). But as Chi Hyun plots revenge on Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho), Shim Cheong (Jun Ji Hyun) immediately wrapped Joon Jae in an embrace. Will she be able to save him in "Legend of the Blue Sea" Episode 19?
What went down in 'Legend of the Blue Sea' Episode 18
The latest episode of 'Legend of the Blue Sea' kicked off from where it left Episode 17, when Joon Jae arrived too late to save his dying father. Before his tragic demise, however, his father left him a voice message saying he regretted abandoning his son and wife. Heo Chi Hyun could have easily saved his father, but opted to wait until he had uttered his last words, Soompi reported.
While the house was swept clean, Shim Cheong was able to extract Seo Hee's memories to link him to her husband's death. But while she was arrested, she was immediately able to post bail, while Chi Hyun worked tirelessly to clear his mother of the crime by framing Joon Jae. The mother and soon foresaw that they could be able to exploit his friendship with Nam Doo, according to IB Times-India.
'Legend of the Blue Sea' Episode 19: Joon Jae in grave danger; Shim Cheong to save him?
But their plan quickly went awry when Nam Doo doublecrossed them, by conning them to make them believe he was turning on Joon Jae. Instead, he had done all that to make Seo Hee confess to the murder of her husband. However, Chi Hyun was so enraged at the sight of his arrested mother that he pointed a gun right at his stepbrother Joon Jae.
