Thousands of ARMY members lined up to purchase tickets for the upcoming two-day concert of BTS in Chile slated on March 11 and 12.
A video was uploaded by Agenda Musical on Twitter, showing the long cue for the BTS concert tickets. According to Allkpop, ARMYs in Chile waited for hours to purchase tickets from the outlet.
Previously, CNN Chile reported the BTS concert was extended for another day because of the high demand; hence, the popular Korean boy group will stage a two-day show at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.
A Chilean fan claimed ARMYs were already waiting even before the ticket outlet opened. "I was there and this video was recorded even before the store was open, so later a lot more people came," the fan wrote.
On the other hand, Koreaboo reported that the March 12 concert of BTS in Chile immediately sold out in a matter of two hours. After that, it has been decided to add another show on March 11 to cater more Chilean ARMYs.
Ahead of their concert shows, BTS hinted for a new version of their official light stick. The boy group took to their Twitter account to drop a teaser of the Version 2, showing an upgraded version of the ARMY Bomb.
It cannot be denied that BTS is popular not only in South Korea, but also across the pond. In fact, American ARMYs are calling out the K-Pop band to have shows in their place.
Another proof of their popularity is their nomination on Shorty Awards. The annual awarding aims to recognize the work of a celebrity or a group for the whole year through online votes and Real Time Academy scores.
BTS has been nominated under the Music category of Shorty Awards in terms of social media content. Fans are allowed to vote starting Jan. 17 to Feb. 16.
