It was last October 2014 when the action thriller film, "John Wick," was released on the big screen. Now that the sequel of the movie is scheduled to be released soon, recent update involves a viral site which promotes the sequel.

According to Screen Rant, Lionsgate has launched a website dedicated to promote "John Wick 2." It turns out that the site was named as Continental Quarterly (CQ) which was reported to be a spoof of Gentlemen Quarterly (GQ). It has been known that GQ is a site for men's fashion while CQ, which John Wick (Keanu Reeves) was the cover, caters fashion style of assassins. It can be recalled in the first film that the Continental Hotel served as the headquarters of the assassin organization that John was previously involved with.

The same publication also noted the details on the viral site, such as the getaway car showdown between the 69 Mustang Mach 1 and the 70 Chevelle SS. It can be remembered that the 69 Mustang Mach 1 was the car that John was driving when it caught the interest of Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen) and stole it from John. The 70 Chevelle was also present in the first film as it was the car that Aurelio (John Leguizamo) gave to John when his mustang got stolen.

On the other note, Slash Film suggested that "John Wick 2" is more like a reunion of some of Reeves's co-workers in "The Matrix." It was already revealed that Laurence Fishburne, who was one of Reeves' co-stars in "The Matrix," will play a major role in "John Wick 2" as Bowery King. The director of the sequel, Chad Stahelski, was also a former workmate of Reeves and Fishburne in the Matrix trilogy, as Stahelski was the film series' stuntman and stunt coordinator.

In regards to the release date of "John Wick 2," sources say that the sequel will be made available on the big screen this Feb. 10.
