"Yu-Gi-Oh!" is a twenty year old franchise that took the world by storm. Its effects still remain in today's generation with its constant expansion in the anime, manga, and games genre, the latest being "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Disk." There are five epic and most powerful monsters you want on your deck when playing this game, and they're all listed here along with their attributes, how to use them, and when to defeat them.

  1. The Winged Dragon of Ra. It's a level 10 card with a divine attribute. Its definition is "a powerful creature that rules over all that is mystic." It's normal summoned and you'll have to pay life points in order to increase its ATK, but that part is optional. And when your LP is low, use the effect of Shark Drake Veiss or Utopia Ray for optimum damage against opponent, Wikia reported.
If you don't want your LP decreased, you may use Power Frame to level this card's ATK with the opponent's.
HOW TO DESTROY: It's virtually impossible to defeat this monster once it starts normal summoned, but once the process is over and it's your turn, use cards that do not target such as Dark Hole, Hammer Shot, Lightning Vortex, Fissure, and Smashing Ground.
  2. Obelisk the Tormentor. This is a seriously bad monster to have on your deck. It requires three tributes and is virtually impossible to take down. Like the Dragon of Ra, it's also a level 10 card and attributed as divine. It's overpowered when it debuted; too powerful that it was banned.
HOW TO DESTROY: It's resilient to spells and traps but it can be defeated with Power of Plasma.
  3. Five Headed Dragon. It's as mean as it sounds. It's a level 12 card that boasts of 5,000 attack points, Comic Book reported.
HOW TO DESTROY: It's the strongest monster to date but you can destroy it with Torrential Tribute or Bottomless Trap Hole the moment it's summoned. When it attacks, use Mirror Force or Fissure. Monster vs. Monster-wise, you can use Exiled Forces or D.D. Warrior Lady.
  4. Slifer the Sky Dragon. If used well, this cool-looking monster can multiply its powers. It's another level 10 card on this list that is very hard to defeat. Effects do not work against it.
HOW TO DESTORY: Once summoned, it becomes very hard to defeat. But there's a Lockdown secret you can try.
  5. Blue Eyes White Dragon. This may be the weakest monster on the list but it can defeat the others just as easily. It's the most popular bad-ass monster in the series and players often go back to it when the need arises. It boasts of 3,000 attack points and its power multiply when it's paired with affect and trap cards.
HOW TO DESTROY: Use the Red Eyes Black Dragon as draws on potential, whereas the White Eyes focuses on power.
