The "Uncharted" movie has finally made a major leap in the pre-production stage as the script writer of "Uncharted" movie, Joe Carnahan, took it to Instagram to announce that the script is finally done and they will move on to the next stage very soon.

Carnahan's recent post in Instagram, where he even shared an image of the title page of the script for the movie, caused stir among fans of the popular video game. The caption for the post, which goes "Now the REAL work begins. If there's a more monstrously cool action script in Hollywood right now, I wanna read it, 'cuz this thing is a BEAST, " results to more excitement and expectations from the movie.

According to Gamespot, Sony wanted to "fast-track" the movie, although many find it ironic that a release date and the cast members have not been announced yet. In previous reports, Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, Amy Adam and Scarlett Johansson were among the names tagged to be included in the roster of casts, while Chris Pratt, Johnny Knoxville, and Nolan North were among those who are rumored to have passed the role as Nathan Drake. Nevertheless, Sony has yet to confirm who will be the lead star of the movie.

On the other hand, Cinema Blend reported that Joe Carnahan, renowned for his masterpiece "The grey," decided not to pursue on directing the movie, but instead, focused on "Bad Boys for Life." The lens for the "Uncharted" movie will be helmed by Director and producer Shawn Levy, the man behind "Real Steel."

For those uninitiated, "Uncharted" is a popular video game from Naughty Dog that revolves around the adventures of Nathan Drake as he searched for ancient artifacts. For years, it has been one of the most popular games in PlayStations.

The movie is set to be released in June 2017, but this seems to be impossible even with the script done because the production and shooting, let alone the casting, has not even started and finalized yet.
