"Kung Fu Yoga" has added another cast member to its list. Apart from Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur from Bollywood, the movie will also feature another Indian actress Disha Patani. Tollywood film "Loafer" star is rumoured to be playing the role of leading star Jackie Chan's character's love interest in the movie. Read on for more details.

The big news was confirmed by Times of India in its latest report. According to the publication, Patani will be seen romancing Chan in the upcoming action adventure movie. It is said that the starlet is also expected to perform several action sequences as she will be putting her action skills at full display.

Patani was the first runner-up in Femina Miss India in 2013. She recently debuted in the film industry with a role in Telugu film "Loafer." As for her debut in Bollywood, she will be seen Indian Cricket team's captain MS Dhoni's biopic, "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" where she will play the role of Dhoni's ex-girlfriend.

If reports are true, Patani will portray the role of an "archaeology professor" in "Kung Fu Yoga," an insider reported. Her character is an "expert level yoga" practitioner and skilled in other "martial arts technique." With these skills, Patani's character will become the part of Chan's character's "quest to find India's Magadha treasure in Tibet."

Speculation about Patani's involvement in "Kung Fu Yoga" began swirling around when she posted a picture of her with a man whose face was blurred on Instagram. "Excited to share details about my first Hollywood project but not so easily, you all have to work towards that!

Apart from Chan, Patani, Sood and Dastura, "Kung Fu Yoga" also stars Chinese-Canadian actor and singer Aarif Rahman. He will play the role of Jones Lee, who happens to be the son of Chan's old friend.

As for Chan, his character is a well-known professor and archaeologist at the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an. The story revolves around the archaeologist's journey to locate the lost Magadha treasure in Tibet that he starts with Indian professor Ashmita and assistant Kyra. In his endeavour, he is accompanied by his assistants Xiaoguang (Lay Zhang) and Nuomin (Miya Muqi). Later, Jones Lee, joins Chan on his journey.

Meanwhile, Sood is the antagonist in the movie. He portrays the role of Randall who is a descendant of a rebel army leader and claims to be the rightful owner of the lost treasure of Magadha. It is later discovered that Ashmita and Kyra are not what they seem to be. They are actually sisters and descendants of Magadha rulers.

The release date for "Kung Fu Yoga" is yet to be announced. However, the movie is expected to release sometime this year.
