The newest NBA trade has finally come to reality as the Cleveland Cavaliers is about to welcome their new sharpshooter Kyle Korver from the Atlanta Hawks. The trade was announced Saturday by the both teams involved.

According to the ESPN, the Cavaliers acquired a new shooting guard that would stretch the floor for the team. Kyle Korver known for his outside shooting skills will join LeBron James and the rest of the gang as they prepare to defend their NBA title this year.

The announcement was made Saturday by both of the teams where the trade involves Mike Dunleavy and Mo Williams along with a future draft pick in exchange for Kyle Korver.

Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin was very excited as they acquired Korver as they add a veteran, an outside threat and a deadly clutch shooter to their team. Griffin also stated that Korver is a great addition to the team since they need a player that can stretch the floor for them.

On the other hand, Fox Sports said that Korver's addition to the Cleveland Cavaliers is not a big leap as fans are gone crazy about the deal. Korver is a great shooter and can still be a big contribution to the Cavs, however, the 35-year old veteran is now playing past on his All-Star peak.

Having Kyle Korver on the floor would definitely have a great pros and cons for the Cavaliers. Korver is a consistent shooter outside the arc, but he is sure to a liability on the defensive end, obviously.

Korver's addition would definitely put LeBron James into his aggressive side on offense and would need to double up his efforts on defense with Korver on the floor. The team could not also risk Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and Korver on the floor at the same time, the team would really a hard time on defense with this lineup.

As of today, with Korver on the wing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, this means another pressure for the Toronto Raptors as they are set to possibly meet again in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Raptors might also need to upgrade their roster before the post-season starts to at least match the threats that the Cavaliers has against them.
