(Photo : Level Up Gaming - YouTube) CNN mistakenly used a video footage from the Fallout 4 game, showing the game's hacking system mini-game.

CNN used a video footage of the "Fallout 4" hacking system mini-game, illustrating a real-life hacking by the Russian government. The White House accused Russia of hacking and CNN made a report with some sort of demonstration.

Last December 30th, the CNN international news used a video while reporting the said hacking, they are covering the steps of the United States while dealing with Russia due to the malicious cyber activities.

The video quickly grabs the attention of several video game fans, as it obviously clear that CNN used a video footage taken from the popular game "Fallout 4" of Bethesda Softworks. With this, fans across the globe quickly reacted and started throwing comments in the social media.

According to the UK Express, CNN was caught using the video from the game "Fallout 4" as they uncover the latest updates about the Russian hacking. The background video was confirmed by many fans as well as the game developer itself, the Bethesda Softworks.

The 2 minute video includes a discussion about the alleged involvement of Moscow in the White House hacking that was called the Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities. The news was specifying the reactions of the United States President-Elect Donald Trump towards the said issue of hacking as per the Kotaku reported.

It can be seen in the video the appearance of the "Fallout 4" Hacking System. It is some sort of a mini-game where players need to guess the codes to unlock doors with the use of a terminal. The "Fallout 4" hacking system is based on the words shown in the terminal, guessing the right word will unlock certain secret doors and access routes.

CNN replaced the video clip with a new background, but the previous video is still lurking around the YouTube channel. CNN was asked about the video, but still they remain silent and leaved the questions hanging.

Several video games and "Fallout 4" fans reacted about the CNN's new video. Some fans said that the news may give a lot of negative impact on their favorite game since parents seemed to be suspicious if they saw the same footage on their own computers.

For some, they didn't take the issues seriously, they even joked that Russians may already have the Pip-Boy Technology that can be used to leak emails.
