Rajon Rondo is likely to be sitting on the bench in the couple of games for the Chicago Bulls. Fred Hoiberg confirmed that the coaching staff doesn't have any plans to change the teams' current rotation.

Rajon Rondo of the Chicago Bulls has been benched for almost 3 games since he pulled out of the floor at the second half of the game against the Indiana Pacers last Friday. Though Rondo was seen sitting on the bench with his is headband, he remains wearing his bench shirt until the end of the last 2 games.

The CSN Chicago released a report citing out the response of the Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg. When asked about Rondo sitting on the bench for the last 2 games, Hoiberg praised Rondo for being a professional player and said that Rondo was very patient to wait for the process as the team is still monitoring the current rotation.

Hoiberg confirmed that for the moment, they still need to observe the current lineup and has no plans to change for now. The Chicago Bulls will keep its current starting lineup with Michael Carter-Williams in the starting lineup.

On the other hand, according to the report made by the Yahoo! Sports, Rajon said that if he remains on the bench for several games, he would absolutely request for a trade. He was also scheduled for a meeting with the Chicago Bulls General Manager 3 days ago, but hasn't been announced any updates since then.

Hoiberg told Rajon Rondo that the was playing slow in his previous games, resulting for the Bulls to make a decision for the team's current rotation. Rondo responded to Fred Hoiberg that he is playing at a slower pace because it is how he see the previous game needs to be played.

As for several basketball analysts, Rajon Rondo is one of the best playmaker in the current NBA generation, but what kept him on his back is his scoring ability. He was known to be very inefficient from the perimeter line down to the 3-point arc. Rondo needs to find ways on how he can actively contribute on the scoring end of the floor, not just by simply dropping dimes.
